Highway Church of the Nazarene

On Friday, July 26, 2024, Highway distributed food bags to 60 families whose children are involved in the Summer Feeding Program in an effort to fill in the gap between the time that Summer Feeding ends and school begins. In the weeks leading up to the distribution day, church members were encouraged to give a cash offering or donate items that that kids can easily access or prepare themselves, such as cans with pull tabs for easy opening, individual fruit cups, sandwich crackers, juice boxes, individual cereals, peanut butter cups, granola bars, etc. Love it when our church practices being the hands & feet of Jesus! Such a blessing to give.
